My first bill is much higher than expected, why is my monthly recurring so high?

The billing cycle is from the first day of the month to the last day of the month. Recurring charges are billed one month in advance. For example, if your first date of service is the 20th of the month, you would be billed for one month and ten days. Check the dates of service on the line charge summary portion of your bill.

My bill amount is deducted monthly from my credit card. How can I pay by check and avoid my credit card from being charged?

Your payment must be received by the 30th of every month . You should allow seven calendar days for standard mail delivery.

How can I check if the problem on my telephone line is inside my building or residence (i.e., an inside wiring issue)?

In most cases your phone box (called the interface or demarcation point), is located on the outside of your building or residence. You can check for dial tone by taking a standard telephone and plugging it into the jack inside the phone box labeled with the telephone number in question. If you receive dial tone, this usually indicates an inside wiring issue and you should contact your inside phone vendor. If you do not receive dial tone, call CMC Telecom to report the problem.

Why isn't the payment I sent in for my last bill showing on my current invoice statement?

The payment did not reach us the 30th of month. You should allow 7 calendar days for standard mail delivery, otherwise it will not reflect on your current bill.
